Axis Q7401 Analog to IP Video Encoder - 0288-004

The Axis Q7401 video encoder is a high-performance device for integrating your existing analog camera with an IP-based surveillance network. Let your analog camera output H.264 or Motion JPEG video. The encoder is capable of controlling PTZ functions, storing video on the local memory card slot and producing up to three simultaneous streams of video.

The single Ethernet connection on the Axis Q7401 encoder is compatible with PoE, providing both power and data to the analog camera. Additional connections and a terminal block let the encoder interface with sensors and relays. Set up the encoder to trigger the camera when a door is opened or a light is turned on, or with other detectors.
