The stackable design of this switch lets you manage multiple stacked switches from a single IP address. Configure, manage and monitor several switches from one web interface, offering decreased network complexity and increased flexibility. The switch supports cross-stack QoS, VLANs, port mirroring and more. Virtual router redundancy protocol, or VRRP, provides efficient cutting from one switch to another in the event of hardware failure.

Security features onboard the Cisco SF500-24P switch include SSL, ACLs, guest VLANs, ARP inspection, IP source guard, DHCP snooping and Denial of Service prevention. Static LAN Layer 3 routing can seamless switch between VLANs. For software upgrades, the switch supports dual images for keeping the network online during maintenance.
