Algo 8188 SIP Ceiling Speaker, White

Algo 8188 is an 8" SIP speaker for installation indoors in ceilings. 8188 provides a discreet solution for paging, emergency notifications, and background music in environments like hospitals, offices, airports, lobbies, retail spaces, and more. It uses a 6.5" coaxial speaker to produce wideband audio, increasing comprehension. It meets NFPA 72 intelligibility requirements and helps you to meet OSHA standards. 8188 has a built-in microphone, enabling two-way audio and automatic volume adjustment based on ambient noise. Use the included ring tones for audio alerts or load custom tones, announcements, and music using the 1GB of internal storage.

Algo 8188 runs the open SIP protocol, so it can be configured with a large number of VoIP systems and cloud-based services. The speaker supports RTP, Polycom Group Page, InformaCast, and SA-Announce multicast types. This means you can centrally manage your whole paging system through the IP network. 8188 is UL2043 certified for installation in air handling spaces. It supports PoE, so you can power it using the same Ethernet cable that connects it to your network. Use the programmable relay I/O contacts to connect additional devices.
