Axis A8207-VE is a network-connected door station that combines three security solutions in one device: HD surveillance video, RFID contactless entry, and two-way communicators. Designed for indoor or outdoor installation, A8207-VE has a 6MP video camera built-in with an ultra-wide-angle lens to let you see faces at the door with great detail. As an intercom, A8207-VE offers HD two-way audio with advanced noise reduction and echo cancellation. The built-in 2W Class D amplifier gives the speaker plenty of power, and a 4W Class D amplifier for the T-coil induction loop improves accessibility. As an RFID reader, it supports both 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz options. When using a recommended RFID card, tag, or keyfob, A8207-VE has a read range of 30-40mm. The door station also has a full 12 button keypad for dialing extensions and entering PIN codes to enable access.
Axis A8207-VE supports the open SIP protocol to enable intergration with numerous VoIP platforms and IP access control systems. A8207-VE has numerous hardware interfaces, including audio input/output, relays for controlling door strikes, HDMI output for video, and more. Because A8207-VE is a network-enabled device, you get simplified management and advanced features, including motion- or sound-based detection. A passive infrared sensor can detect approaching people to trigger events like activating the camera or playing a message. The door station is designed to be vandal-resistant, including built-in tamper detectors. Axis A8207-VE is ONVIF Profile G and Profile S compliant.
