Axis Camera Station S2224 is a rack-mounted network video appliance that combines an HD network video recorder and a 24-port PoE switch. As an NVR, S2224 records surveillance video from connected IP cameras at up to 4k UHD resolution using a 12TB surveillance-class hard drive. If you require more storage, S2224 has 2 free bays for adding more. S2224 has a 120GB SSD that holds the operating system, improving performance and protecting the OS in the event of failure. S2224 supports live-streaming for public display or real-time surveillance: one 4k Ultra HD video stream, four 1080p Full HD video streams, or up to 24 cameras in split view. It supports dual display connectivity.

On top of being an enterprise-class recorder, Axis S2224 is a 24-port network switch with PoE support. As a switch, S2224 connects and controls up to 24 devices like IP cameras. The PoE switch has a generous 260W power budget. Axis validates all hardware components in S2224 to ensure proper functioning. S2224 comes with Axis Camera Station management software already installed, making it ready to go when you open the box. S2224 comes with 24 Axis Camera Station licenses. It is intended for rack-mounting.
