Axis Camera Station S2224 Mk II is a combination PoE switch and network video recorder (NVR): an IP camera solution that makes it simple to deploy a large security camera system. Intended to be rack-mounted, S2224 Mk II is a 24-port network switch with 260 W PoE power budget, which lets you connect and power IP cameras and other PoE devices. It is also an NVR with support for up to 24 channels. 24 Axis Camera Station Pro Core Device NVR licenses (tied to the hardware) come pre-installed on the appliance and you can expand the system with additional licenses. S2224 Mk II also comes with effective video security software like Axis Recorder Toolbox already installed. The appliance even supports advanced AI applications like Smart Search 2, making your video evidence much more usable. As a package, S2224 Mk II streamlines the process of establishing an IP security camera system. And the cherry on top? It protects your system with features like a FIPS 140-2 Level Certified TPM.

As a recorder, Axis S2224 Mk II comes with 12 TB of storage out of the box (2x 4 TB HDD). It has two additional two slots for more storage and supports RAID Levels 0, 1, and 10. As a computer, it runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise and has an Intel Core i3 CPU. It has dual HDMI 2.1 ports for connecting two HD displays, letting you view recordings and live viewing of the system. It supports up to one 4K Ultra HD feed (four 1080p Full HD feeds) via a Windows client or even one 8K video feed via a local or remote web client. As a PoE switch, it has 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE support and a 260 W total power budget. It supports up to 802.3at Class 4 PoE.
