Axis Companion LW 2MP/1080p Wireless IR Fixed IP Camera - 0892-004

Axis Companion Cube LW is a wireless network security camera that's part of the Axis Companion Line, an end-to-end surveillance solution for SMBs. Companion Cube LW uses WiFi, 2.4 or 5 GHz, to connect to your network. A host of security features protects your data, including WPA2 Enterprise, Axis Secure Remote Access, SD card encryption and WiFi Protected Setup. The Cube LW has a 2.8 mm lens with f/2.0 aperture, meaning you get a broad field of view and lots of light on the 2 MP CMOS sensor. A built-in adjustable infrared LED light and passive infrared sensor allow your camera to notice and record scenes even in pitch-black. Video is encoded using H.264 and Motion JPEG. Wide Dynamic Range technology allows your camera to adapt to high-contrast scenes, and Zipstream technology saves you on bandwidth and storage.

Axis Companion Cube LW is intended for indoor deployment, and has a built-in audio system: microphone and speaker. Audio can be two-way, half-duplex or disabled. In the package, Axis includes an Axis Companion Card, a 64 GB microSDXC card that allows you to store video locally on the camera. You can also store video through the LAN using a network recorder like the Axis Companion Recorder. The package also includes a table-top stand and mount bracket. The casing is built out of polycarbonate, aluminum and recycled plastic. It comes with a three-year warranty.

Axis Companion Line cameras require the use of Axis Companion Video Management Software, which you can download for free from Axis.
