Axis Companion Dome V is an affordable vandal-resistant network security camera that is part of an end-to-end surveillance solution for SMBs. Companion Dome V runs the Axis Companion video management software for Windows and app for Android and iOS, which allows anyone to securely manage cameras and view video feeds from anywhere you have the internet. The Companion Dome V takes 1080p Full HD video using a 2 MP CMOS sensor and a fixed 2.8 lens with f/2.0 aperture, giving you a generous field of view and usable evidence in light levels down to a quarter of a lux. Axis has developed Wide Dynamic Range technology for dealing with high-contrast lighting situations, as well as Axis Zipstream technology, which keeps resource usage to a minimum while retaining the important information you need.

Axis Companion Dome V uses an Ethernet cable to connect to your network. The same cable can power the Dome V via PoE. The camera has an HDMI Type D output connector if you need to connect the camera to monitors directly. Store video locally using a compatible microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC card, or connect it to a video recorder like the Axis Companion Recorder. The camera supports the efficient H.264 to keep networks and storage from being overloaded. Axis Companion Dome V is IP42-rated against dust and water, and IK08-rated against impacts. Torx security screws add an extra layer of protection against tampering. Axis Companion Dome V comes with a three-year manufacturer warranty.
