Axis Companion Eye L is an indoor mini-dome network security camera designed as a simple solution for SMBs. Using Axis Companion software for Windows, Android and iOS, you can securely manage and view your cameras from anywhere. The Companion Eye L has a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor with an efficient 850 nm infrared LED, letting it take 1080p video at 30 fps even in complete darkness. The 2.8 mm lens gives the camera a generous field of view for capturing tight indoor spaces: 118° horizontal by 65° vertical. The camera can pan 180° in either direction, rotate 95° in either direction and tilt 60°, so you're sure to be able to have it see what you need it to see. The flat-faced design reduces reflections, and WDR (wide dynamic range) technology allows the camera to adapt to high-contrast situations.

Axis Companion Eye L is powered through the network cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet), which reduces the amount of cabling you need to install and provides a stable connection. The Eye L includes Axis Zipstream technology, reducing network load, and supports the efficient H.264 video codec. You can store your surveillance video in camera using a compatible microSD card, or externally via a connected Companion Recorder or other NAS storage solution. Axis includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty.

Axis Companion Line cameras require the use of Axis Companion video management software, which you can download for free from Axis.
