Axis M4218-LV is a compact IP camera that uses a 4K Ultra HD sensor to offer exceptionally detailed surveillance video. In addition to its 4K Ultra HD sensor, it has a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), which means the camera can support intelligent analytics on the edge. M4218-LV uses a professional varifocal lens with remote zoom/focus and a broad angle adjustment range to let you position the camera to best effect every time. On top of its superior optics, it has video-enhancing technologies like Lightfinder, which is better than the human eye at accurately reproducing color in extreme low-light conditions. If there’s no light at all, use the built-in OptimizedIR infrared lights with 65 foot range.

M4218-LV has an HDMI port, which provides a simple solution for using the camera with a public viewing monitor. Axis Edge Vault protects your surveillance infrastructure with a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that includes secure boot, signed firmware, secure keystore, and more. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network via an NVR or NAS solution. M4218-LV meets the IP42 and IK08 durability standards for long-lasting durability and vandal-resistance. M4218-LV is repaintable, so you can make it more discreet. The camera is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
