Axis M4318-PLVE uses its 12 MP sensor and built-in deep learning processing unit (DLPU) to provide top-tier surveillance — all from an IP camera that measures less than 6 inches in diameter. Designed for indoor or outdoor installation, M4318-PLVE features a factory-focused 1.2 mm lens with ±180° digital roll to make it exceptionally simple to install and find the right shot. Sharpdome technology reduces distortion when you compare this camera to the average dome camera. Using its fisheye lens, M4318-PLVE offers complete 180° or 360° coverage from a single camera with a selection of viewing modes for up to Ultra HD surveillance how you need to see it: overview, panorama, quad view, corner right/left, and more. It has individually controllable OptimizedIR infrared lights to provide detailed evidence in complete darkness that you can set to reduce reflections.

M4318-PLVE is powered by the purpose-built ARTPEC-8 System on a Chip. ARTPEC-8 gives the camera worry-free performance with pluses you can’t find elsewhere, including the pre-installed Object Analytics solution that automatically detects and classifies humans and vehicles using AI-based algorithms. M4318-PLVE also features the hardware-based Edge Vault security solution to protect both the device and the IP camera system. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network. The polycarbonate, hard-coated dome casing means the camera meets the IP66 and IK10 durability standards. M4318-PLVE is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
