Axis P1388-LE is a 4K Ultra HD security camera for general outdoor surveillance in a wide range of scenarios like city monitoring, building protection, warehouse security, and more. It can be used in extreme weather conditions, because it has an extended operating temperature range of -40°F to 140°, plus a front heater to keep it free of ice and condensation. To counteract vibrations such as are prevalent in roadside scenarios, the camera features electronic image stabilization (EIS), keeping your video clear and detailed. Barrel distortion correction lets the security camera retain the natural shape of objects, cars, and people. It has a varifocal lens and supports configurable scene profiles, making it highly effective across common environments.

P1388-LE has a purpose-built Axis ARTPEC-8 chip, which enables advanced technologies to enhance image quality and provide analytics solutions. Lightfinder 2.0 provides accurate color reproduction in extreme darkness to help with accurate identification. Forensic WDR lets the camera adapt to extreme high-contrast lighting to retain important detail in your video. P1388-LE has integrated OptimizedIR infrared lights with 164 feet reach, giving you video evidence in no-light conditions. The IP camera also comes with a suite of analytics solutions, including Live Privacy Shield, Scene Metadata, Video Motion Detection, Speed Monitor, and Object Analytics. P1388-LE also supports License Plate Verifier and Perimeter Defender (not included). Even though the camera takes 4K Ultra HD video for exceptional detail, the video feed is highly efficient with Axis Zipstream and H.265 (HEVC) video compression. Store video in camera using a microSD/SDHC/SDXC card or through the network via a NAS system or NVR. P1388-LE is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
