Axis P1518-LE is an outdoor-rated IP camera that combines wide-angle and telephoto cameras into one surveillance device — a two-in-one solution. P1518-LE has dual sensors and dual lenses. The 5.85 mm lens has a 4K Ultra HD sensor and is designed for wide shots of scenes. Because it has a 4K resolution sensor, you get excellent coverage without sacrificing necessary detail. The 10.9-29 mm telephoto lens lets you zoom in, so you get close-up views to see occurrences with greater accuracy. This lens has a 1080p Full HD sensor. Both cameras support Lightfinder 2.0 technology for improved, naturalistic color reproduction in low-light situations and Forensic WDR technology to deal with high-contrast lighting, retaining import details. The camera has built-in infrared OptimizedIR lights with 160+ foot reach for no-light surveillance.

P1518-LE is powered by the purpose-built ARTPEC-8 System on a Chip, enabling AI-powered solutions. Axis Object Analytics comes already installed on the camera, which is a whole suite of AI-based analytics that gives you actionable insights. The security camera is built from the ground up according to the Axis Edge Vault solution, which is a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that includes FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage among much else. P1518-LE is highly durable, meeting numerous industry standards. It can withstand hurricane-class winds and has an extended operating temperature range. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network using an NVR or NAS system. P1518-LE is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T for interoperability with third-party devices and systems.
