Axis P4708-PLVE is a two-sensor panoramic surveillance camera with dual 4K Ultra HD video feed integrated in one device. Designed for indoor or outdoor installation, P4708-PLVE is ideal for video security in open spaces. It comes with a weathershield to protect it from the elements. Because it combines two cameras in one, you get two 4K Ultra HD cameras from a single IP address. Each compact panoramic camera has a professional varifocal lens with 2.5× zoom and supports remote zoom and focus capability. You can position each camera head independently to cover area in the most effective manner possible. Additionally, you can add an extra layer of security — sound — with its audio input support.
P4708-PLVE is powered by the purpose-built ARTPEC-8 chip, which enables progressive image enhancing technologies and advanced analytics solutions. Lightfinder makes color reproduction more accurate when the camera is recording in extreme low-light. Forensic WDR deals with high-contrast lighting to keep detail that might otherwise be lost. OptimizedIR infrared lights offer 360° coverage out to 50 feet for video security in complete darkness. For analytics, the camera supports Axis Scene Metadata, which gives you actionable insights through scene analysis, making your video searchable and improving your understanding of what's actually happening in the video feed. Axis Edge Vault means the camera has elite security built in from its very core: signed OS, secure boot, signed video, device ID, and more. Store video in camera via a microSD card or via a network storage solution like an NVR or NAS setup. P4708-PLVE is compliant with ONVIF G, M, S, and T to ensure interoperability with third-party devices and systems.
