Axis Q1659 is a professional IP security camera that uses a Canon EF-S lens and Canon APS-C sensor to give you astonishing 20MP surveillance video. This package comes with a Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 lens. Q1659 brings DSLR-level quality to video surveillance, with resolutions of 5472x3648 video at 8 frames per second or 4k Ultra HD 3840x2160 video at 25 frames per second. Axis Zipstream retains detail in vital sections of the image, saving a lot on bandwidth and storage. For installations where you absolutely need detailed evidence, you can't find a better solution!

Axis Q1659 has a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting to your network. The camera is PoE compliant for powering it through the Ethernet cable, or you can use the optional Axis PS24 240W power adapter, which is IP67-rated. For even more bandwidth, the camera has an SFP slot for connecting a fiber optic cable. Store video locally using a microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card. With Axis, you get the full compliment of security and QoS features for professional deployments. Compatible with a wide range of video management software platforms, the Q1659 is also ONVIF-S and -G compliant.
