Axis Q1728 is an AI-powered, 4K Ultra HD security camera that is built to fit many camera enclosures, including both first-party and third-party options, or even custom-built enclosures. Because you can use the camera with multiple enclosures, you can reuse an existing enclosure, saving resources, or buy a new enclosure to suit a changed scenario. As an IP surveillance camera, Q1728 offers exceptionally detailed 4K Ultra HD video using a large sensor, which improves lowlight performance. Its telephoto lens makes it great at picking out precise details from a scene. Axis improves image quality with advanced technologies like Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR.

Q1728 uses the purpose-built Axis ARTPEC-9 processor with deep learning processing unit to power advanced features. Axis Live Privacy Shield uses AI-based dynamic masking to protect privacy while providing necessary evidence. Axis Object Analytics automatically categorizes objects for efficient analysis. And Axis Image Health Analytics ensures high-quality images and appropriate field of view, so you'll always be getting the correct images you need. On top of support for H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC) video compression, Q1728 also supports AV1, which lowers bandwidth and storage requirements even more. Store video using a NAS or NVR solution, or in-camera using a microSD card. Axis Q1728 is ONVIF Profile G, M, S, and T compliant. If you want to use Q1728 for license plate reading, it supports the optional Axis License Plate Verifier feature.
