Axis Q1800-LE-3 is a license plate capture kit that comes with Axis License Plate Verifier installed on a Axis Q1800-LE IP Camera. License Plate Verifier is an analytics platform that identifies license plates in real time, including in free-flow situations like highways. Useful for secure vehicle access, vehicle search, traffic enforcement, and more. It has an easy to learn and manage user interface with event log entries with thumbnail images, and more.

The utility of License Plate Verifier is improved by using Q1800-LE, a purpose-built IP camera for license plate reading. It works day and night in any lighting condition. The camera can accurately read license plates at speeds of up to 124 mph using edge analytics or up to 155 mph using server analytics. It offers an up to 328 foot daytime reading range or up to 164 foot nighttime reading range using the built-in infrared lights. (The optional Axis T90D20 Infrared Illuminator extends the reading range out to an incredible 328 feet.) Q1800-LE uses a custom-designed ARTPEC-8 System on a Chip for professional performance.

Q1800-LE improves video quality with class-leading image processing technology. Zipstream makes the feed more efficient without loss of detail. Forensic WDR deals with extreme-contrast lighting to reduce loss of detail. Lightfinder 2.0 produces naturalistic coloration in extreme low-light conditions. OptimizedIR improves the performance of the infrared lights. The camera has a varifocal 7-137 mm lens for professional-grade optics. Best of all, electronic image stabilization (EIS) greatly reduces the effects of vibrations on video quality. Vibrations will always be there at roadways as vehicles pass by (and as the wind blows and rain falls), so EIS is extremely useful.

Q1800-LE withstands the elements and the effects of traffic. It has an integrated weathershield. It withstands wind speeds of up to 134 mph and has an extended temperature range of up -40°F to 140°F. Its aluminum enclosure with dehumidifying membrane meets the IK10 standard for impact resistance and the glass front meets the IK08 standard. It meets the IP66 and NEMA 4X durability standards. The grey housing and black weathershield mean it doesn't call attention to itself. Q1800-LE connects to the network via a Gigabit Ethernet port with up to 802.3bt Class 3 Type 6 PoE (Power Over Ethernet) support for powering the camera. The camera has a second Gigabit Ethernet port that can deliver network connectivity and PoE power to an additional device, which simplifies installation and keeps your installation streamlined. Q1800-LE is compliant ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
