Axis Q1800-LE License Plate IP Camera - 03107-001

Axis Q1800-LE is a purpose-tuned IP camera for license plate capture. Q1800-LE can accurately read license plates 24/7 (day and night) at speeds up to 155 mph with an up to 328 foot daytime reading range or up to 164 foot nighttime reading range. It uses its custom-designed ARTPEC-8 System on a Chip for the ultimate in performance. Q1800-LE is intended to be usable with a wide range of standards-based, third-party license plate reading software, so you don't need to switch platforms to integrate the camera.

To improve video quality, Q1800-LE features extensive image processing technology, including Zipstream for making the feed efficient without losing detail, Forensic WDR for dealing with high-contrast lighting, Lightfinder 2.0 for getting naturalistic coloration in extreme low-light, and OptimizedIR for improving the performance of the infrared lights. The built-in IR lights have an up to 164 foot range in telephoto mode or up to 131 foot range in wide-angle mode. (Using the optional Axis T90D20 Infrared Illuminator, you can boost this range up to an amazing 328 feet.) With a professional varifocal 7-137 mm lens, you know you're getting top-tier optics. Electronic image stabilization deals with the vibrations that are a constant presence at roadways.

Q1800-LE is built to withstand the rigors of installation near vehicle traffic, as well as tough environmental conditions. It has a built-in weathershield and withstands wind speeds of up to 134 mph. It has an extended temperature range of up -40°F to 140°F. It meets the IP66 and NEMA 4X durability standards. Its aluminum enclosure with dehumidifying membrane meets the IK10 standard for impact resistance and even the glass front meets the IK08 standard. It has a discreet grey housing and black weathershield, so it won't stand out. Q1800-LE connects to the network via a Gigabit Ethernet port with up to 802.3bt Class 3 Type 6 PoE (Power Over Ethernet) support for powering the camera. The camera has a Gigabit Ethernet out port that can provide network connectivity and PoE power to an additional device, streamlining the network camera installation. Q1800-LE is compliant ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
