Axis Q1808-LE is a powerful IP camera that comes with a Canon varifocal lens and ultra-high-light sensitive 4/3” sensor to provide exceptionally crisp and detailed surveillance video. Designed for indoor or outdoor installation, Q1808-LE has a 10 MP sensor that it uses to give you up to 4K Ultra HD (3840 × 2160 px) resolution video in 16:9 ratio or 3712 × 2784 px resolution video in 4:3 mode. It handles up to 60 fps in 4K Ultra HD, giving you security video with reduced blur. Even with this incredible detail, it keeps the video feed efficient via Axis Zipstream and H.265 (HEVC) video support. The built-in OptimizedIR infrared lights enable zero-light surveillance and have a maximum reach of over 300 feet. Forensic WDR technology adapts to high-contrast lighting to retain vital detail that might otherwise be blown out or obscured in shadow.
On top of its incredible optics, Q1808-LE has enterprise-class intelligence and security built-in. It comes with advanced features installed, including Live Privacy Shield to protect the privacy of individuals while retaining necessary information, Video Motion Detection to accurately trigger configurable events based on what the camera sees, and Object Analytics to automatically classify humans, vehicles, and even types of vehicles. The camera also has Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity solution that integrates secure boot, signed firmware, device ID, and more to protect the camera and the camera system. Q1808-LE has two Gigabit Ethernet ports: one connects the camera to the network and one lets you connect and power via PoE an additional device like speaker or strobe light. The camera’s IDC network connectors and roomy backbox protects its cabling from vandalism. It meets numerous durability and anti-vandalism standards. It also has a microSD card slot for storing video in camera. You can store/stream video through the network via a NAS or NVR. Q1808-LE is ONVIF Profile G, M, S, and T compliant.
Note: Axis Q1808-LE (02507-001) comes with 12-48 mm Canon lens and is intended for general surveillance in open areas. If you want the same camera with a lens for more detailed surveillance from a distance, search for Axis Q1808-LE 150 mm (02508-001), which comes with a 50-150 mm Canon telephoto lens.
