Axis Q1809-LE is an elite surveillance camera that uses a varifocal Canon lens and dual purpose-built system-on-chips (SOCs) to power full 8K Ultra HD resolution video security. Designed for outdoor installation, Q1809-LE uses a highly light sensitive 4/3-inch sensor and custom-made 50-150 mm Canon zoom lens to take exquisitely detailed surveillance video. Its cutting-edge optics make it perfect for long-range surveillance with extreme detail and its large sensor gives you gold-standard pixel density to be able to identify even minute details in the video feed. Electronic image stabilization (EIS) improves video clarity even more by dealing with the common camera vibrations resulting from the weather, traffic, machinery, and so on.

Q1809-LE has two Axis ARTPEC-8 chips powering it, which not only enables the ultra-high 8K resolution video, but also enables image enhancing technologies and advanced analytics. Lightfinder allows the camera to reproduce colors accurately even in extreme low-light, helping with identification. Built-in OptimizedIR infrared lights give you no-light surveillance with a range of over 300 feet. Zipstream and H.265 (HEVC) video compression keep valuable detail while greatly reducing bandwidth and storage loads. You can store video in camera with a microSD card or through the network. Q1809-LE comes with installed analytics solutions. Live Privacy Shield protects individuals' privacy without loss of important detail. Scene Metadata dynamically adds metadata tags to aspects of the scene in both live and recorded video, making it much easier to search video for important details and understand long-term trends.

Axis has built security into Q1809-LE from the ground up with Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity solution that includes signed OS, secure boot, device ID, and more. It offers FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure cryptographic key storage. Q1809-LE is intended for outdoor installation. It meets numerous industry standards for durability and has a rugged aluminum casing with mounting arm to make installation simple. The back box protects the cabling and ensures a clean setup. The camera even has surge protection to protect it from potential damage from electric surges. Q1809-LE meets ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T for interoperability with third-party devices and systems.
