Axis Q6225-LE is an elite, heavy-duty PTZ security camera for exceptionally detailed and accurate surveillance in the harshest conditions. Designed for outdoor installation, Q6225-LE features a large half-inch CMOS sensor, allowing it to take 1080p Full HD video with extreme clarity and sharpness. For a lens, it uses a versatile 31x telephoto zoom lens, making it suitable for situations ranging from general surveillance of open areas to picking out the most specific detail in a scene. As a PTZ camera, it features 360° endless panning and a 180° tilting range, so you'll be able to cover a complete area using the one camera.

Q6225-LE features the progressive technologies that set Axis IP cameras apart. Powered by an ARTPEC-7 System on a Chip (SoC), Q6225-LE supports electronic image stabilization to reduce the effects of vibrations on image quality, making it an excellent choice for surveillance near roadways, train lines, factories, industrial areas, and similar locations where vibrations come into play. It comes with powerful OptimizedIR infrared lights with a reach of over four football fields — 1300 feet — for no-light security video. Lightfinder ensures accurate color reproduction in video taken in extreme low-light. Forensic WDR dynamically adapts to shifting lighting to retain much more detail in shadows and bright patches such as are caused by car headlamps, bright sunlight, overhangs, and more. Zipstream makes the video feed extremely efficient while retaining important detail. The cameras support ultra-efficient H.265 (HEVC) compression to streamline the video feed that much more. It's also a smart camera with Axis Object Analytics preinstalled, letting it automatically classify objects in the video, such as humans or vehicles.

On top of all this, Q6225-LE is a ruggedized security camera of the first order. It is compliant with the MIL-STD-810G and NEMA TS 2 standards. As a vandal-resistant camera, it meets the IK10 standard. To counteract adverse environmental conditions, it meets the IP66/68 standard. It can withstand wind speeds of up to 150 mph and has an extended operating temperature range of -58°F to +131°F. Arctic Temperature Control ensures safe camera start-up down to -40°F to protect your investment. For interoperability with third-party systems and devices, it is compliant with ONVIF Profiles G, M, S, and T.
