Axis Q8641-E is a thermal IP camera with incredibly smooth pan-tilt functionality. Q8641-E detect heat signatures in any lighting or weather condition, giving you security regardless. The camera uses an athermalized lens with uncooled micro bolometer sensor. The mount is designed for reliable, jerk-free operation with 360° endless panning and a 135° tilting range to cover a wide area with a single camera. Q8641-E features electronic image stabilization to clarify the imagery. This model of Q8641-E takes video at 30fps (frames per second).

Axis Q8641-E is designed for use outdoors, including an aluminum casing and germanium front window. The camera can withstand wind at speeds of up to 106mph with full pan-tilt functionality. It has an extended operating temperature range to deal with heat and cold. De-icing technology heats the camera for operation in extreme cold. Q8641-E offers RJ45 and SFP connectivity options, so you can use fiber for long-distance runs with copper Ethernet as a failover. Store video locally using a microSD card or through the network. Zipstream reduces network and storage load. Axis Q8641-E is ONVIF Profile G and Profile S compliant.
