Axis Q8641-E is a thermal network security camera for outdoor installation in open areas. Q8641-E features incredibly smooth pan-tilt functionality for reliable wide area coverage. It supports 360° endless panning and a 135° tilting range for expansive coverage using a single camera. Q8641-E detects heat signatures in any lighting or weather condition. The camera uses an athermalized lens with uncooled micro bolometer sensor with electronic image stabilization for clear evidence and alarm triggering. This model of Q8641-E takes video at 8.3fps (frames per second).

Axis Q8641-E is rated for outdoor installation with an aluminum casing and germanium front window. It can withstand windspeeds of up to 106mph while keeping full pan-tilt functionality. The camera an extended operating temperature range to deal with heat and cold with integrated de-icing technology to heat the camera in extreme cold. Q8641-E offers both RJ45 and SFP connectivity.
