Axis Q8642-E 30fps Outdoor Thermal Positioning IP Camera - 01121-001

Axis Q8642-E is a network-connected thermal positioning camera for surveillance in any weather or lighting condition. Q8642-E features a pan-tilt mount that positions the camera smoothly and quickly for coverage in any direction. It offers 360° endless panning and a -90° to +45° tilting range. Q8642-E uses an athermalized lens with uncooled micro bolometer sensor to detect heat signatures. Electronic image stabilization clarifies the imagery. This model of Q8642-E takes VGA video at 30fps (frames per second).

Axis Q8642-E is intended for outdoor installation. It uses aluminum casing and germanium front window for extra durability. Q8642-E has been tested to withstand wind speeds of up to 106mph while retaining full pan-tilt functionality. It has an extended operating temperature range of -40°F to 140°F. The camera uses internal de-icing technology to heat the camera in extreme cold. Q8642-E offers RJ45 and SFP connectivity options, so you can use fiber for long-distance runs with copper Ethernet as a failover. Store video in camera using a microSD card or through the network using a NAS or NVR solution. Zipstream reduces network and storage load. Axis Q8642-E is ONVIF Profile G and Profile S compliant.
