Axis T6101 Mk II Audio and I/O Interface - 02553-001
Axis T6101 Mk II adds two-way audio and I/O connectivity to a compatible Axis IP camera that doesn't already have these capabilities. T6101 Mk II is installed between the camera and the network switch. Using portcast technology, it uses the camera's IP address to provide audio and I/O connectivity that seems to be integrated with the camera. Using T6101 Mk II, you get audio and video over a single stream.
T6101 Mk II has 3.5 mm audio in and out connectors, as well as a 4-pin I/O connector, making it a plug and play solution. Using the audio connectors, you can connect a microphone or speaker to enable, for example, recording audio and video in one stream or having a speaker broadcast alerts. The I/O connectors let you connect peripherals like external sensors or motion detectors to trigger actions, giving you an improved, well-rounded security system. T6101 Mk II is also a PoE-enabled device that's powered via PoE (Power Over Ethernet) and also can output PoE power, so it can power the connected camera via PoE, too.
