Axis T6112 Mk II Audio and I/O Interface - 02554-001

Axis T6112 Mk II adds two-way audio and I/O connectivity to compatible Axis IP cameras that don't support it to begin with. It comes with a discreet casing, making it suitable for indoor installation on walls or ceilings. Install T6112 Mk II between the camera and the network switch. The interface uses portcast technology to work its magic, using the same IP address as the connected camera and providing audio and I/O connectivity from that IP address. The effect is that the audio and I/O devices appear to be integrated with the camera: you get audio from the interface's connected devices and video from the IP camera over a single stream.

A plug and play device, T6112 Mk II features 3.5 mm audio in and out connectors and a 4-pin I/O connector. Using the AUX connectors, you can connect an external microphone or speaker, which let's you record audio with the video in one stream or use a speaker to broadcast alerts, among many other applications. Using the I/O connectors, you can connect peripherals like an external sensor or motion detector to trigger actions like setting off an alarm when motion is detected, among many other applications. T6112 Mk II is a PoE-enabled device. The interface is powered via PoE (Power Over Ethernet) using one Ethernet port and it delivers PoE power to the connected camera using the other Ethernet port. This means you don't need to worry about adding any power supplies to the installation if you already use PoE to power the IP camera.
