Axis T8508 is an 8-port switch that both connects and powers IP cameras. The switch has 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports, plus 2 Gigabit combination RJ45/SFP ports. T8508 supports PoE+ power, driving 30W per port with a total power budget of 130W. A professional network switch, T8508 has an excellent switching capacity of 20 Gbps with throughput of 14.9 Mpps. And it's fanless, which makes it nearly silent.
Axis T8508 has been optimized for IP surveillance, reducing installation and configuration time. Manage the switch using a browser-based user interface with a graphical topology overview to make your system easier to visualize. It features professional security and networking technology, including 802.1x port authentication, HTTPS encryption, DHCP snooping, and support for private VLANs. T8508 is designed for table- or rack-mounting (with optional rack-mounting kit).
