If you have a Poly VVX phone such as the VVX 450 deployed in a noisy environment and need an external ringer so you stop missing calls, you’re in luck.
Algo Solutions makes the 2506 VVX Ring Detector, which is specifically designed to work with Poly VVX phones and Algo IP speakers like the Algo 8186 and Algo 8180. If you prefer a visual notification that your phone is ringing, an Algo strobe light like the 8128 can also be used with the 2506.
Algo 2506 VVX Ring Detector
The 2506 allows you to connect an Algo SIP loud ringer or SIP strobe directly to a VVX phone.
Without the 2506, an Algo SIP loud ringer or SIP strobe would not be able to connect to a VVX phone. It would have to be set up as a separate SIP extension off your phone system.
