Fanvil has just announced four new video door phones. They combine performance and open-standard compatibility like you always expect with Fanvil. And these come with elegant designs that set them apart from the competition. In fact, these might be the best-looking products Fanvil has yet released:
- Fanvil i61 Video Door Phone
- Fanvil i62 Video Door Phone
- Fanvil i63 Video Door Phone
- Fanvil i64 Video Door Phone
Fanvil i6 Series of Video Door Phones
All the new intercoms run the open SIP communications protocol with support for 2 SIP lines, which means that you can integrate them with standards-based IP phone systems and IP security systems. Additionally, they’re ONVIF compliant, which means you can use them with third-party devices as part of the same system. You’re not locked into only using Fanvil. They connect to your IP network using a standard Ethernet connection and power it via PoE (Power Over Ethernet). They have 3 short-in detect ports and 2 short-out control ports for peripherals.
They have a 1080p Full HD camera with a wide-angle (141° diagonal field of view) lens and CMOS camera sensor, so you’ll be able to clearly see who’s at the door. Additionally, they have high-intensity infrared lights for nighttime video. The 2.5 W speaker has advanced echo cancellation so everyone will be able to hear clearly.
For secure access control, all the intercoms have built-in RFID readers, so you can enable contactless entry using RFID cards or keyfobs.
For hard of hearing users, they have an audio induction loop, which means it can play a magnetic, wireless signal that can be picked up by hearing aids on the telecoil setting.
These door phones are built to last with aluminum alloy construction. They meet are IP66 rated against dust and water ingress and IK07 rated against impacts. They also have an extended operating temperature range of -40°F to 158°F so you can use them even in very cold or very hot locations. To protect the intercom itself, they have tamper switches to notify you when someone attempts to remove the cover.
How are the new Fanvil i6 intercoms different?
i61 has a camera, call button and RFID reader. The call button is a capacitive touch button and is clearly indicated by the illuminated glyphs.
i62 has the same features — camera, call button, RFID reader — but with a physical call button.
i63 has the camera and RFID reader but exchanges the single call button for 5 speed-dial buttons with spaces to add nametags.
i64 replaces the call buttons for a full numeric keypad, which enables PIN access on top of RFID and the other methods.
