Yealink continues to build on their increasingly popular line of office headsets with the new BH72 and BH76 Series of Bluetooth Headsets.
These Yealink Headsets share many features. They’re both stylish stereo Bluetooth headsets that use dual 35 mm speakers with Ole Wolff diaphragms for exceptional frequency response and sensitivity. The headsets have a retractable microphone boom that you can hide in the earphone when not using it. They support Acoustic Shield technology, which sets a virtual perimeter around you, blocking out noise beyond that perimeter. A powerful battery with almost a day and a half of talk time. A busylight designed for ultra-wide-angle visibility. And more!
How are Yealink BH72 and BH76 different?
The two lines of headsets share many features. But how are they different?
BH76 supports four features that BH72 does not:
- Active noise cancellation (ANC). BH76 lets you choose from four levels of active noise cancellation. ANC is one of the most popular headset features with users. It’s particularly important for workers in open-plan offices, workers who need to travel and hybrid workers who work in shared spaces.
- Audio pass-through. BH76 also supports audio pass-through, which means you can hear what’s happening around you without taking off your headset.
- Bluetooth 5.2. BH76 supports Bluetooth 5.2 while BH72 supports Bluetooth 5.0. This means it can transmit more data over lower bandwidth, which means better sound quality per amount of bandwidth used: a big deal for a headset. It also means various improvements to connectivity.
- Qualcomm aptX HD. On top of supporting the more recent Bluetooth standard, BH76 supports the Qualcomm aptX HD codec, which enables 24-bit hi-res audio transmission. In other words, BH76 can sound really, really good.
One final difference is that BH72 comes in a regular and a “Lite” version, which BH76 does not.
What’s the difference between Yealink BH72 and BH72 Lite?
Yealink BH72 comes in two versions: BH72 and BH72 Lite. There’s only one difference between the two: the regular version supports Qi wireless charging and the Lite version does not. The Lite version must be charged via a USB-C cable, while the regular version can be charged via either a wireless charger or a USB-C cable. Yealink includes a USB-C to USB-A cable in the box for both versions.
Remember: “BH72 Lite” means it doesn’t support wireless charging.
What models of Yealink BH72 and BH76 are available?
As with many lines of headsets, these two come in a variety of formats.
They come with a Bluetooth dongle, either USB-A or USB-C. The dongle lets you connect to a PC, laptop or compatible VoIP phone. Otherwise, you can connect directly to a smartphone, tablet or VoIP phone (if it supports Bluetooth natively) like you would with any other Bluetooth device. They come in black or light gray.
To make your life easier, we’ve created base product pages. You can select what USB dongle and what color you want on these pages.
