Cisco Desk Phone 9871 is an elite VoIP phone that sets a new standard for a work-enhancing device wherever you’re working: in the office, in the home office, or in a hybrid work environment. 9871 comes with wireless Wi-Fi 5 or lightning-fast wired Gigabit Ethernet network connectivity. It has a 5-inch HD color touchscreen display that provides a familiar, dynamic, smartphone-like interface, making the phone a joy to use. 9871 supports Open SIP interoperability with third-party platforms and has been tested and certified for Cisco Webex Calling and Cisco Unified Communication Manager (Cisco UCM). It supports up to 16 SIP lines on both Webex Calling and Open SIP platforms.

With Cisco, you know you’re getting the best engineering possible — and 9871 is no different. The IP phone has AI noise removal to make sound quality better on both ends. Its full-duplex speakerphone uses a revamped, bass-enhancing acoustic enclosure to make voices sound full and natural. The handset is Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC). 9871 has two USB ports. The USB-A port on the side works with plug-and-play USB headsets, as does the USB-C port on the back. You can also use the USB-C headset to charge an external device like a smartphone. If you want to use a wireless headset, the phone comes with Bluetooth 5.2 LE support.

As part of the Cisco Desk Phone 9800 Series, Cisco 9871 is powered by PhoneOS, a unified OS designed to simplify user experience and streamline management across every phone in your fleet. PhoneOS complements Cisco’s RoomOS video devices, providing a seamless communications experience on both audio and video calls and meetings. Sign-in/authentication for desk reservation and hot desking mean you can use the same phone with multiple users in a simple, secure way. 9871 is built with government-grade security, including Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, TLS 1.3, Secure Boot, Image Authentication, and more.

“I am not sure how we are supposed to access the technical support we have purchased. Probably just missing information on my part. Hopefully, I will receive an email or other correspondence with additional instruction. Thanks.”
