Lifesize Icon 450 is a self-contained video conferencing system that features an integrated 1080p Full HD PTZ camera and codec with support for SIP and H.323. The package also includes a Lifesize Phone HD with 15ft pickup range and wide 90 Hz to 22 kHz frequency range. The components combine to create the perfect solution for video collaboration in smaller spaces such as huddle rooms or ad hoc offices. Lifesize Icon 450 includes HDMI in and out ports for connection to HD TVs.

Lifesize Icon 450's camera has a wide-angle lens with an 80° horizontal field of view and a 5x optical zoom for losslessly framing individual participants in the video conference. Icon 450 includes a smart-framing sensor with a 120° horizontal range that automatically picks out people, uses PTZ functionality to frame them, and focuses on them.
