Logitech Extend enables BYOD video conferencing in meeting rooms, and all you have to do is plug in a single USB-C cable. In other words, anyone can walk into the video conferencing room, plug in the USB-C cable into their compatible laptop or mobile device, and access a professional Android-based or BYOD video conferencing systems. Extend is compatible with numerous Logitech video conferencing devices, including Rally Bar and MeetUp models. It works with Windows and macOS laptops and Android and iOS smartphones (supported features and operating system versions vary; check compatibility before purchase). It supports Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms Appliance, and Google Meet on Android deployments on top of BYOD video conferencing systems that prevent lock-in.

How does it work? The kit includes two hubs: the Display Side (RX) box and the Table Side (TX) box. The RX box connects to a compatible video conferencing device like a Rally Bar and the TX box connects to a laptop or smartphone via a single USB-C cable. Connect the two boxes with a standard Ethernet cable (not included) with a maximum cable run length of 328 ft (100 m) when using CAT6A cable. In other words, Extend truly does let you extend your BYOD video conferencing system to suit meeting rooms of any size. To keep the installation neat, the kit includes a magnetic dock for the USB-C cable, holding it neatly in place. The included grommet adapter lets you run the cable through a standard-sized hole in the meeting room table.

Logitech Extend is simple to manage via Logitech Sync. It can also be updated via Zoom Device Management and the Microsoft Teams Admin Center. If you use an optional 100W power supply, you can deliver power to the laptop connected to the TX box.
