Plantronics MDA100 QD makes transitioning the audio fed to your headset between a desk phone and a smartphone as simple as turning on the lights: just flip the switch! How does it work? On the back of the unit, there are two plugs: one connects to your phone, one connects to your computer. On the front of the unit, there's a single plug for your headset. Simply plug all the devices together, then when you get a call through your phone, flip the switch to telephone, and you're getting audio from the desk phone. When you get a call through your softphone, flip to the softphone, and you're good to go there. If you need to mute the call, press the mute button. Simple!
Plantronics MDA100 QD is compatible with Plantronics Quick Disconnect (QD) headsets, which is the easiest way to detach headsets for breaks or shifts changes. The unit is a 6-position configuration switch that is compatible with PCs and Macs, and all desk phones and softphones supported by Plantronics Hub, including Microsoft Skype for Business and Cisco WebEx. It comes with the cables you need, too: 10 ft coil cable for the headset, RJ9 cable for the desk phone, and USB-to-micro-USB cable for the computer.
