Poly Edge E500 is a cutting-edge VoIP phone — the most versatile phone that Poly has yet produced. Sleek and modern looking, Edge E500 has a 5-inch color display with 12 line keys that support multiple pages for 48 line key assignments in total. The display has a convenient color status indicator light bar around it — a built-in busylight. If you need more lines, Edge E500 supports the Poly Edge E Expansion Module (not included). The phone has two USB-C ports for many uses, including USB headsets, expansion module, and media/storage applications.
Edge E500 provides exceptional audio quality — Poly signature sound. HD Voice gives voices exceptionally lifelike character. Acoustic Fence sets a virtual perimeter around your conversations when using the handset or a wired headset. Acoustic Clarity makes your full-duplex conversations crystal-clear. The phone's speakers are designed to enhance the bass frequency — making the sound that much better. For hands free communications, use a USB-C headset or traditional wired headset. Edge E500 supports NFC to streamline secure, contactless pairing for guest login and other scenarios.
Edge E500 has Microban® antimicrobial protection on the phone console, handset and handset cord to make the phone very sanitary. Poly has focused on improving accessibility with support for text-to-speech, adjustable screen color and font size, and many more — plus a hearing aid compatible (HAC) handset. The package includes a two-position desk stand. A wall mount kit is available separately. It connects to your network via the dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, which support PoE. Edge E500 is Energy Star® rated — efficient.
