Polycom RealPresence VideoProtect 500 is a video conferencing system protected by a rugged, solid steel housing. Inside the housing is the powerful Polycom Group 500 codec and a Polycom EagleEye Acoustic camera, designed for HD video and audio. This set up provides reliable face-to-face communications in harsh conditions, including for governmental or judicial applications.

The exterior enclosure is wall mountable for installing directly in front of users, standing up or sitting. Also within the housing is a 22" color LCD and speakers. The handset can be programmed to auto dial when it is picked up, or the system can auto answer when audio is transmitted through the speakers. Use the handset or speakers for two-way or one-way communications.
