Ribbon EdgeMarc 2900e PoE is an Intelligent Edge session border controller (SBC) for enterprises and service providers that also provides PoE power for up to 12 devices. This model of EdgeMarc 2900e PoE supports 50 concurrent calls. EdgeMarc 2900e PoE solves two office communications problems in one device: 1) it future-proofs communications, and 2) it powers network devices. EdgeMarc 2900e works for voice and unified communications, including hosted VoIP and SIP trunking. Designed for power, it supports bi-directional data traffic up to 1 Gbps. This PoE model of EdgeMarc 2900e delivers power to 12 connected devices through the same Ethernet cable that connects the device to the network. EdgeMarc 2900e offers the following connectors: two Gigabit WAN ports, two Gigabit Optical WAN ports, and twelve Gigabit LAN ports with PoE support.
