Spectralink 7742 is a cordless phone purpose-built for healthcare. How is it built for healthcare? It has a cleanable keypad that you can use disinfectant on without damaging it. It's IP64 rated, meaning it's dust-tight and water splash proof. It has extended safety features, including automatic alarm detectors and a tear-off string alarm. It includes Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free use with a headset.

Spectralink 7742 has a large color display that shows eight lines of text, perfect for use with its contacts book, which records up to 350 entries. It supports messages of up to 180 characters, and has all the phone capabilities you'd want in a hospital: different ringtones for noisy situations, special alerts when on silent mode, and others.
