This version of the Spectralink 8440 wireless phone handset offers a suite of productivity tools, with the addition of support for Microsoft Lync. Microsoft Lync support enables the Spectralink 8440 handset to provide instant messaging, immediate access to Lync-enabled information and other enhanced telephony tools.

A rugged construction, including IP64-certified dust- and water-resistance, as well as Military-grade drop/shock resistance, equips the Spectralink 8440 handset for manufacturing facilities and also the occasional accident (regardless of workplace). With all of these great features, the 8440 handset also includes walkie-talkie capabilities and panic button for even more immediate communication.
