Viking E-1600-40A-EWP is a plain red analog emergency phone with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP). Suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, E-1600-40A-EWP meets the IP66 durability standard and is operational in up to 100% humidity conditions.

E-1600-40A-EWP is built for long-term reliability and is easy for all users to operate: press the single button. Its textured red powder paint finish makes it highly visible. As an analog emergency intercom, it can dial up to 5 extensions and 2 central station numbers. It can provide a digital announcement of its location. It connects via a standard analog telephone line and is powered through the line. All programming parameters are stored in non-volatile memory. It is intended for surface mounting to walls, posts, 1-gang boxes, or 4-inch x 4-inch electrical junction boxes, or for recess mounting in an elevator phone box.
