Viking LS-911 is a line seizure device for emergency phones, which provides the security of an analog 911 line when used with an IP PBX or VoIP phone system. This device hooks up to an FXO port, which means you get an analog emergency phone line without needing to dedicate a line to that purpose. Use an analog line typically reserved for a fax machine or similar device. When an 911 call happens, LS-911 handles it as first priority on this line, including retaining availability of the line in case of call back.
