Viking RG-212 is a ring booster and ring generator to enhance the ringing of up to 12 channels. RG-212 can increase the power of the ringing and reshape the ring signal from analog PABX extensions, FXS ports, IP phone system analog ports, and more. The ring shaper/booster duplicates the incoming ring cadence, making it compatible with your custom ringing setups. Each line can ring up to four 1 REN or eight 0.5 REN telephones.
RG-212 does not affect normal operation of the lines or telephony features, including caller ID, call waiting, and more. Additionally, RG-212 can reshape square wave ringing into a true sine wave ring signal output, reducing distortion. It's simple to install and connect devices using its RJ21X connectors.
